Hello fellow Urban Gardeners,

There is just a hint of “fall” coolness in the air, so naturally I’m getting ALL the fall seeds and plants ready to plant all the yummy fall veggies. My husband and 3 1/2 year old son were out in the backyard planting 250 sweet corn seeds and a few plots of butternut squash seeds last weekend and they are already sprouting and growing (harvest time will be late November/early December). If you are wanting to get your own raised beds or in ground planting started or just have some hand holding in planting your own fall backyard garden, I’d love to welcome you to come to the backyard gardening workshop Oct. 4 10-11 a.m. 

There will not be any prior registration this year, so first come first serve on seats the morning of. The workshop will be held at The Springs Clubhouse (1694 E Cindy Street, Chandler, AZ 85225). Please park anywhere on Cindy Street near the clubhouse and then come through the entrance by the tennis/pickleball/basketball court and past the pool into the main meeting area. I will have a light refreshment and water for everyone during the workshop 🙂 It will be such a fun morning helping bring your fall backyard garden vision to life.

If you could, please bring a pen/pencil to write with that would be great.
