Saturday, October 5 from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM at the club house
Are you interested in vegetable gardening in your own back yard? Join us to learn how to successfully grow your favorite Fall vegetables. We will be reviewing the basics of urban vegetable gardening, so you have a roadmap for your gardening success – including how to use your own table scraps to create organic soil. Discover how to start a raised bed or plot in your backyard, learn about plant selection, timing, and placement and the importance of soil health and preparation and lots more.
We are so fortunate to have a Springs homeowner, mom, wife and former 1st grade teacher who will lead and facilitate the workshop. Katlin grew up on a third-generation family farm raising cattle, chickens and a large garden and now she and her husband John have created their backyard into an abundant urban garden right here in the Springs. Come join this workshop and learn how to successfully create a Fall garden for you and your family. Space is limited so registration is required.
